Bunny Day 2021: The quickest ways to earn Eggs

You need all the eggs… in a span of eight days. How do you do it? What are the easiest and hardest eggs to obtain?

As a refresher, here are the six types of eggs you can earn:

  • Leaf
  • Sky
  • Water
  • Earth
  • Wood
  • Stone

Check out my other post to learn a bit more about the individual egg types.

Now I will rank the eggs from common to rare based on a 5☆ system.

  • Stone ★☆☆☆☆
  • Leaf ★★☆☆☆
  • Earth ★★★☆☆
  • Wood ★★★★☆
  • Sky ★★★★★
  • Water ★★★★★

As you can see, the hardest eggs to obtain are the sky and water eggs. Sky eggs come from rainbow colored balloons, and water eggs come from catching fish (medium sized to be exact).

But that doesn’t show you how to earn them super quick… it just shows you how hard they are to earn. Let’s get into that right now.

1. Mystery Islands- If you have 10ish Nook Mile Tickets, you can get a good amount of eggs from looting mystery islands. If you need Nook Mile Tickets, check out my semi-guide here. You can get every type of egg except for Sky eggs (balloons don’t spawn on mystery islands for whatever reason). This makes it the #1 most efficient way to get eggs.

2. Trading with Zipper- On Bunny Day, all egg spawn rates are heavily increased to help you out. Plus, you can trade three of any kind of egg for one egg of any kind. The dialogue is kind of lengthy, so it may be better to hunt for eggs yourself.

3. Trading on Nookazon- If you have anything of value, consider buying eggs from Nookazon. Be sure to check out my posts on Nookazon before you go for this option. My posts are here, here, here, here, and here.

There it is… the top 3 ways to get eggs this year. If you are looking for DIY’s… pop the Bunny Day balloons and check for Bunny Day message bottles. The balloons will either have a Bunny Day DIY or a Sky Egg.

That’s it for today! Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time!

(P.S. Good luck with all the DIY’s!)
